Transforming Lives Through Education, Nutrition and Compassion

Our Projects
From Small Beginnings to Big Impact

At Tshega Community Program, our projects are born from a deep commitment to uplift, equip, and restore dignity to vulnerable children and families in rural South Africa. Through initiatives like our Feeding Scheme, Orphan and Vulnerable Children Programme, and Basic Needs Support, we respond to both immediate and long-term needs. Whether it’s providing a warm meal, quality education, or essential items like clothing and stationery, each project is a step towards building a stronger, more self-sustainable community. Grounded in faith and driven by compassion, we aim to nurture children into individuals of integrity and hope—empowering them to thrive and make a lasting difference in their world.

TCM Feeding Scheme
Our Outreach team provide a daily meal to forty (40) vulnerable children during school terms. The feeding scheme sets a platform for children to receive support with their homework including discipleship activities.

Of course, there is also time for play and fun activities after all the responsibilities was taken care of!

We hope to support students to become self-sustainable through education and guidance in becoming individuals with Integrity and Christian values resulting in a positive contribution to the community.
TCM Orphan and Vulnerable Children
Vulnerability in the villages around the TCM base is evident in the heartbeat of the area. It is our vision for the affected families to become socially and economically productive members of society and to build knowledge about barriers and struggles in rural areas and find solutions on how to overcome it.

We hope when barriers are identified we all can actively take part in the transformational process, compassionately caring and supporting our community. TCM aims to achieve this vision through providing 98 of these children with excellent education and basic needs giving them every opportunity to rise above their current situation.
Basic Needs
Giving vulnerable families their basic needs quarterly.

Providing them with basic needs such as school uniform, stationery, toiletries, food, winter clothes and casual clothes.
